Oops, sorry. Mea culpa. I forgot to mention that I made the ones-that-got-
away patch with the sage library patch from #8680 in place -- RLM has
promised that nothing else will get merged until #8680 does. If you apply
that before ones-that-got-away, the latter should apply fully cleanly.
