sensible way to test this is to do a complete build from scratch. To make
that process easier, I have uploaded a full Sage distribution with the
patches applied to
[http://cage.ugent.be/~jdemeyer/sage/sage-4.5.2.alpha0-9343.tar]. Just
doing {{{make}}} should be enough to build it.
This built OK on Solaris 10 (SPARC) using t2.math. A quick check showed
Sage functioned - i.e. did not do something stupid like segfault. I am
running {{{ make ptestlong}}}
