 It turns out to be more subtle than I thought and I don't know yet why.

 It is not easy to add -I${SAGE_LOCAL}/include/python2.6 to compile
 options, in any case many other compilation lines actually have it
 already. After careful checking, I found that this particular option is
 not used in any scipy-0.7.x log I had on sage or Gentoo for these
 particular objects.
 But I see it in scipy-0.8.0 in Gentoo.

 I am messing up with some of my system at the moment so I cannot generate
 a successful build log of scipy-0.8.0 from sage at the moment. But it
 would be interesting to know if this particular compilation option has
 been added in the successful builds.
