No need for extra logs. I found the culprit and why it affects only Karl's
ppc
machine. I point the finger to g95! or rather the fact that the patches
that
are installed if g95 is found should have been rebased.
Basically the file special/setup.py is replaced by a version from
scipy-0.7.0
which doesn't need the python header. Could you please use spkg-install.2
attached
in scipy-0.8.0 it doesn't use the patches for g95. It should work without
special
patch in my opinion anyway.
