 Good, this seems to have fixed it on 10.4.  I'll check it out on higher
 one later.

 I noticed that if you bdist from a Sage that doesn't have its
 documentation built, the first half of help pages don't exist.  (This
 could happen if, for instance, LaTeX wasn't in the path of the build.)  I
 don't know if this means they should be the live ones after all, which
 build (just not as nicely) without TeX... not sure about this.

 Also, it's not possible to use a browser other than the system browser on
 10.4 now.  What is the connection between this and the Dock - that is, why
 does it show up as a sub-preference?

 But these are all relatively small issues, of course.
