I also didn't change the date format. I wasn't sure exactly what you
meant; if you're not happy with the date format in a line like
{{{
INSTALL DATE: Tue Sep 21 12:48:53 PDT 2010
}}}
from a file in spkg/installed, I didn't touch any of that code, and I
don't have time to deal with it now. I think for a release date, we don't
need anything more precise than {{{2010-09-29}}}: no hours, minutes,
second, or time zone.
