No, I do not. I'm referring to the advanced controls menu, where it says
"3-D display size" and you can pick from four sizes.
 >I need OS, browser and java versions to work any more on that. I've not
 seen what you describe.

This is on Mac OS X. With Safari 5.0.4 it doesn't seem to work at all,
and does nothing bad. With FF 3.6 it works, but has the same problems I
mention somewhere above regarding the images not really fitting properly
 into the window.

I wouldn't consider this a deal-breaker, but since it seems quite
unreliable, maybe you can just comment that out for now until it's working
more reliably? As long as people can pop out the picture, that is the
 important thing.

 > >* The pop-out window usually resizes appropriately, but for certain
sizes that are just a little wider than tall, the image disappears. I
haven't noticed a lot of other problems as yet. Lots of applets at once
do seem to load properly. Once in a while I have problems with some
additional plot loading if I do an additional one, and once in a while a
plot seems to disappear. But the situation is certainly much better than
 before.
 > This one is going to be very hard to track. It sounds like I haven't
quite figured out all the situations where there can be timing issues
between the server and the notebook. Again any specifics about how to
 reproduce would help.
I think this is a small enough issue - only for certain window sizes and
shapes - that it shouldn't block anything.

However, on FF if I pop it out, sometimes nothing at all shows up. And in
fact, just now it completely froze FF - as far as I know there weren't too
many applets open, I just asked for it to pop up one too many times,
 maybe.

Is it possible that the extra applets from resizable pop-up windows could
hog more Java memory than is supposed to be allowed?

Sorry, that's the thing you just mentioned in your last comment. Yes, I
agree that something should be done with that. It seems reasonable to
perhaps sleep all applets in the main window except the same one, or maybe
 the last two.

In fact, I wouldn't mind reducing from five 'awake' applets to four.
Anyway, this needs to be at least somewhat resolved, so 'needs work' for
 now.
