Yeah, I think my Safari problems with the pull-down menu must have been
memory problems.

IE 7 doesn't work at all with Jmol, but even on XP it was no problem to
upgrade to IE 8 and it worked ok there, except the "Toggle Advanced
Controls" button didn't work at all. Which means the functionality is the
same as it was before, which is ok, I guess.
I managed to crash my Safari several times just now by trying to evaluate
another cell (in a worksheet of mine) that would produce an applet while
several were open. Ordinarily that just sleeps one of the other ones, but
this particular one must have a malformed applet in its directory or
something. I'm going to try to see what's going on with it. The error
message talks about height and width =0 but should be >0, so maybe that's
a clue...
