No idea what's causing that. Though I don't need it, I can toggle the flag
here on Ubuntu (10.4) as I like.
Maybe an obsolete version of `execstack`? Or maybe just a wrong,
misleading error message? The path is correct (relative to `SAGE_ROOT`)?
If all doesn't help, simply try applying the patch (to
`devel/sage/module_list.py`), touch `devel/sage/sage/libs/libecm.pyx` and
run `./sage -b`.
