 Well, ''my'' `execstack` (version 1.0) gives an appropriate error message
 on `non-existing.so`. Perhaps you have an old version installed that only
 supports 32-bit ELF.

 Ok, I'll make the extra linker flag depend on the OS (i.e., Linux).

 May take 1-2 hours until I upload a Mercurial patch.
