 Okay, here is a v3 patch with cumulative changes from the original v2
 patch in the corresponding delta patch; thus you can get from the original
 patch to the v3 patch by applying the two delta patches.

 I added the path of the original file to the doctest file, but did nothing
 about listing files in the directory.  (It should be clear from other
 messages what the files are -- they should correspond to doctest failures
 -- and people can also just `ls` the directory.  The current message is
 there just to alert people to the fact that their `.sage` directory (by
 default) is possibly being polluted with some things which could be
 cleaned up if desired, so just printing the directory name is good
 enough.)
