Yes, it does apply. Possibly the previous patch also applied. I tried to
apply the patch to sage-4.7.2.alpha3 without #9138, this failed. Since
the fate of #9138 is not so clear (it could very well be unmerged in
sage-4.7.2.alpha4), I will postpone testing this new !PolyBoRi until it is
clear how #9138 will evolve.
