I'm happy with the v2 patches as they are, so in principle positive
review. Just have to take a closer look at the whole and make sure the
patches apply... ;-)
Feel free to add or change further things if you like.
[IRC distracted me; that was a while ago, but I hadn't yet grabbed the
patches... :-) ]
