Thanks for the helpful comments. I should have explained better why I
inserted the ldconfig line. Simply, nothing worked without it; and the
difference from previous versions of eclib is that the Makefiles now
create shared libraries, after which it is essential to use ldconfig, or
the binaries simply do not work.
I hope we can leave this as it is (or similar). If not, I would just
remove the shared libraries (which were an addition to eclib not put in by
me).
If we can leave the ldconfig in, please return this to Positive Review!
