 I also quite agree with mjo.

 If possible, let's just update the 5.25 spkg with an additional patch for
 the sum (as Dima just did for the false stuff), so that it is quickly
 reviewed and merged.

 And let's upgrade maxima in another ticket (and another one for error
 handling, and potentially another one for a real solution to the domain
 stuff, my preferred solution for that is the domain option with
 try/finally and real by default, for mjo I'm not sure we can call it a
 regression, did Sage (and Maxima?) actually outputed something different
 for domain equal to real or complex before? or was it always as it is now
 with domain= real?).
