That is a strange error indeed.
Simon: I agree with Jeroen - that can be taken care of later. There are
actually several things people are doing with sagenb that will not make it
into 0.9.0 (the version of sagenb we are gearing up to release, as soon as
this ticket has positive review). They will go into the following release
of sagenb. This includes stuff like the switch from jsmath to mathjax,
Ivan Andrus's code to allow opening .sws files from the command line, some
LDAP implementation stuff which people are still hashing out, and a
Russian translation that someone on github kindly made for us. See
https://github.com/sagemath/sagenb/pulls for some stuff that people are
working on but hasn't been accepted yet because we're still making 0.9.0.
You can make your own edit of the startup message and add it to this list,
if you wish :) Here is the relevant code:

(Of course, we should technically have a separate branch for feature
freezes such as this, but we'll get around to that later.)
