Greg.. please see the broader picture... it is only on christmas that
the hotel industry functions as it is season time and than it is
brightly lit up!!!! imagine a small hotel with ablaze with so many
lights and stars. than compare it to a household which has just 1 maybee
2 stars and a few lights which are enough... the amount of enery
consumed is humongoes.. the heat that is produced also is a high
contributor towards warming over here and it just doesnt even feel cold.
as an example.this year around christmas. ppl were traveling around the
main roads in just a banyan as it was so hot.. but the moment they
reached the inner roads and near the calangute church onwards, they had
to wear something else as the chill caught up with them and the dew
started to affect. this wasnt the case on the coastel belt as the warmth
from the lights just took away everyhting
