Dear SaligaonkarsI had been to the holy land and i found Israel one of the cleanest place in that area. No papers or any dirt on the road. People should be taught to segrate bio products and non bio . Tdry to use no plastic and the biodegradeable products can be burried underground and converted into manure. If we use paper bags or cloth bags then plastic can be avoided. I have seen many people going to the market without any bags. Then the first question " give me a carry bag. the shopkeeper is forced to give you one. Regular customer. By the way if any one wants to go to holy land zion tours and travels are the best. you are given five star treatment. Pay 70,000 and enjoy your tour. Good volvo buses (AC) breakfast , lunch, dinner (buffet type) good guides and the treatment is of vip. We had no difficulties at all. Some tour operators do not include lunch in the menu. Albert

We can solve this issue by having a proper system of segregation at the time of collection. We should have designated area's where we have 2 / 3 bins for collection of different types of garbage: Plastic / Bio Degradable / etc. The collection too should be done regularly, so that too much of accumulation is not allowed to happen. With out a system in place, where do people dispose their garbage? I'm open to being part of a movement, as long as we have a proper system. Have a great weekend! Keith.
