Hello Can I make a suggestion. First the organisers should decide realistically what os a good time. If they decide 6pm. Then on thw dot of 6 pm yhe function should start. Plan a game pr whatwber that nweds fewer people. Givw the best prize of the evening then
Why? It respects the people qho come on time and two it sends a mesaage to those who could come on time but felt it was no point because 6 means 6.3 or 7. Most organiswrs plan we will say 6 so at least by half 6 we can start. Once you do this see the attendance at the next function. But who will bell the cat. Federick. If 6 is not 6.3 then do not write it sounds as 6 sharp. Simply start at 6. Have fun at your social.
