Hi Dirk,   SA Version 4.0.1302   In default setup a username and password have been specified and it is ticked as enabled, I have checked these directly through messenger and they work ok   Which default timeout, do you mean? I assume the one on the alerts page which in this case is a PING and is set to 5, can't find any time out values on the MSN setup page   If MSN requires a Proxy, is this picked up from the settings within SA's proxy settings page?
