In default setup a
username and password have been specified and it is ticked as enabled, I have
checked these directly through messenger and they work ok
Which default
timeout, do you mean? I assume the one on the alerts page which in this case
is a PING and is set to 5,
can't find any time out values on the MSN setup page
If MSN requires a
Proxy, is this picked up from the settings within SA's proxy settings page?
Assumed it was so these have been set too for proxy and port required by
MSN.

exact version of SA are you using?
In the

Have upgraded to V4 and
everything seems to be working fine expect I'm having some issues with
MSN, I'm getting the message in the log message failed, there was an
error connecting. State: 0
I've checked all the obvious
settings but can't find anything wrong. I can also log into MSN
manually from this terminal and send a message with no problem - any
ideas?
