Hi, Probably some of you already read/heard the news from Microsoft. From Oct 15th on, clients using older versions of the MSN protocol will no longer be able to be used. Unfortunatly Servers Alive still uses the MSN protocol version 7 (like most 3rd party clients do). We hope to have a technical solution by then, still the legal part of it is not clear. According to Sean Sundwall (a Microsoft spokesman): "It is our expectation that those who use our service with unlicensed or unauthorized third-party clients will likely not be able to log on after Oct. 15," Sundwall said. "We would encourage those third parties to contact us to work out agreements by which they can continue to have their customers access our network."
Apparently MS wants us to make some kind of agreement with them over the use of the MSN network, however they are not giving any info on how to get this agreement.
