Glad it's not just me where it works for then :-)

Most video drivers filter the image when stretching a DirectX surface, but
I'm afraid it's not something I can control. OpenGL on the same system wil
let you choose whether to filter, but unfortunately only the SDL version of
SimCoupe uses OpenGL!

The fact it needs to stretch at all is because the internal display is full
width but half-height, to save on duplicating the extra lines in software.
The future partial scanline support will require doing that anyway, so it's
something that could be implemented at the same time.

The best you can do for now is to turn leave acceleration on, turn off the
overlay, enable "force 8-bit" and run the emulator in full-screen mode. The
palettised mode doesn't have the depth/colours for aliasing so it's always
pin-sharp.

It will be - that's already on my ToDo list!

For the coding part you could try running unsynced with the REPDEL/REPSPD
values turned up to compensate (assuming the program you're using uses the
ROM key scanner). Try: POKE 23561,200,20 and see if that slows the
keyboard down enough to be usable - reduce both values if it's too slow on
your system.

For Lemmings I use the Turbo key, which is + on the numeric keypad by
default, but can be remapped to a normal function key using the FnKeys tab
in the options. It's great for bursts of speed to get you through the slow
loading, or when you're set up for all Lemmings to walk home.

Agreed that both of those would be better suited to a fixed faster speed.
I've also had requests for slower speeds too, to help with tricky sections
in games.
