Hello, thank you for replying. I understand about the use of an nph sript being flawed as a test but I did test other standard perl scripts that also have the same problem. I even tried the following:
#!perl print "\n\n"; print "<HTML>Hello there?</HTML>\n"; Receiving the same error. I assume that on a Windows machine, the shebang is not neccesary; although I did also try the usual #!/usr/bin/perl.
