Seems no guru's around here to help you, as Perl newbee I give it a try: I am not using the cgi-bin dir, can execute Perl everywhere. In fact I removed the whole cgi-bin and cgi-win for security reasons (see www.sambarserver.info for advise on that)
Do you have in config.ini: CGI Extensions = *.pl I have also: Perl Executable = (empty and use the shebang line as recommended) Steffen ----- Original Message ----- From: "SomeThinkElse" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Newsgroups: sambarzone.list To: "sambar List Member" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, April 22, 2004 8:55 PM Subject: [sambar] Sambar 6.0.1p fails to run all scripts > I have installed Active State 5.6.1.635 and told Sambar where it is > and I still get the same error. > > I have played around with all of the defferent ways of specifying the > path in the config.ini file and shuting down the server and restating > it each time - I don't know whether this was neccesary or not, are > the settings static or dynamically read? > > There is no problem with file access to the sambar/tmp directory nor a > lack of space on the drive preventing file creation. > > Am I missing something obvious?
