Looking at the particular error (WARN) message you posted, it looks like you are trying to execute a CGI script in a WinCGI directory. Did you change your CGI Directory and WinCGI Directory settings in config.ini?

Hello,

I am having this problem, as mentioned on the free-for-all section as

CGI scripts in Sambar 6.01 - Errors

My apologies for the cross posting, I am just taking the advice of the
admin post at the top of said section.

[2004-04-22 16:58:05] WARN: Failure executing WinCGI (can't create
process): D:/sambar/cgi-bin/nph-redir.pl D:\sambar\tmp\W5-1-2.ini
D:\sambar\tmp\W5-1-0.txt D:\sambar\tmp\W5-1-1.outW}

Log passge was for the redirect script on the samples page. But I get
the same message for my own custom perl scripts and even a basic
"Hello world" script. Changing the She-Bang at the start from
#!/usr/bin/perl to just #!perl has not solved the problem.

I have checked that Samabr 6.0.1P knows where Perl is: /perl/perl.exe

As defined in config.ini . I am running Win2k SP4 with a cleanly
installed copy of Sambar to see if that sorted the problem. It
hasn't.

I have tried running scripts form Cgi-bin, cgi-win and external
configuration. Any suggestions will be very welcome.
