I have installed Active State 5.6.1.635 and told Sambar where it is and I still get the same error.
I have played around with all of the defferent ways of specifying the path in the config.ini file and shuting down the server and restating it each time - I don't know whether this was neccesary or not, are the settings static or dynamically read? There is no problem with file access to the sambar/tmp directory nor a lack of space on the drive preventing file creation. Am I missing something obvious? I have spent all day on this problem and need to get perl working for the w/e. I have had no major problems with previous versions of Sambar and am considerig going back a step. I'm off for a bike ride, if any one wants to see my log or config files etc just ask and I will send them later.
