I'm not against UTF-8. It seems to work for me. I remember possible compatibility problems on OS/2. Are they still current? Which editor is good for UTF-8 and po files? I like the (x)emacs po mode, but it doesn't seem to be able to display utf-8 encoded files correctly. There are editors like yudit tha can cope with utf-8 but, well, they are not that nice for po files as eamcs :-) Any recommendations? Bye, Henning
