Cool, but as mentioned in a previous post (Juergen Sauer), let's go with
www.berlios.de for this cvs hosting of this project? I don't mind either
way, but some folks have preferences. Presumably, OSDL can work with
that (they run SF V1)?

How much demand is there for non-Lintel systems? I know the S/390 boys
are active, but is anyone else out there busy with this stuff (Solaris
x86, Linux Alpha, HP, AIX etc)? I'm just thinking of the testing side of
things... S/390 folks, is it difficult to cross-compile for S/390 on
x86? 

Also, what do we call this beasty? OpenSAPDB is to the point, but (and I
hate this bit) do we need to worry about trade marks and so on? Do we
need a non-SAP name? But if SAP AG gives this project an ok, I guess all
is well...
