Dear SAP DB Community, First of all, please note that I'm not speaking in the name of MySQL AB or SAP AG. I'm a member of the PHP community and I'm also involved in the organization of LinuxTag 2003, which will be held in Karlsruhe, Germany from July 10th-13th.
After following the discussion on this mailing list, I decided to change the LinuxTag program to give all parts the chance for discussing and representing their views and standpoints. Friday July 11th: 18.30h International PHP and DB Community meeting. This event will be held outside from the fairgrounds in a nice beergarden. Beside the PHP community also Kaj Arn and a some MySQL core developers will be there for discussing, answering questions and (of course) drinking beer :) Details for Location will follow soon. Saturday July 12th 10.00 Open Conference - UG1 Kaj Arn, Vice President MySQL AB: MySQL, SAP and the company in German Language Please note: in the conference table on linuxtag.org it's not published yet. (I withdrew my talk PHP5 and MySQL 4.1). 11.00 Open Conference - UG1 Jrg Hoffmeister, SAP AG: SAP DB - A review on two years of Open Source 13.00 - 14.00 Workshop Room R 2.08 - 1st floor SAP DB - MySQL: Round table discussion. Moderation: Ken Coar (Vice President Apache Software Foundation). For all which aren't able to attend LinuxTag, we'll try to provide a live channel on IRC to give the ability for "virtual participation" (details will follow soon). I hope these additional events will help to clarify the current situation, and I would be glad to see you at LinuxTag. Regards Georg Richter P.S: The hotel situation in Karslruhe during the LinuxTag looks very bad. At the same time there is a congress of Jehova's witness with over 25.000 people :( If you need an accomodation, you should try to search a hotel outside from Karlsruhe (Ettlingen, Pforzheim), or contact me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). _______________________________________________ sapdb.general mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listserv.sap.com/mailman/listinfo/sapdb.general
