I'd recommend to look for rooms also in Gr�tzingen, Pfinztal, Walzbachtal or Bretten. There is a famous tramway (Lines S4, S5) from these locations to Karlsruhe. You can reach the Kongresszentrum in 20 min (from Gr�tzingen) to 45 min (Bretten) without changing (see also http://www.karlsruhe.de/KVV/).
