In fact is still uses RML - it just reduces the scope of what has to be done
in RML and what outside .. I put the details into

That's a really interesting approach you are using with Scribus and pdftk.
I've never been a huge fan of trml but I've never seen anything better.
Would you mind adding some of your notes to the wiki? It might be nice for
people to see that there is another option out there that is more
maintainable.
