I think one thing is clear, and that is what ever route we take, we
have to be able to merge satchmo updates easily.  Trying to change the
Model interface for the satchmo Models would be too big a task and
merging very diff., unless we can somehow automate mapping django
queries to datastore queries.

I would have thought the best way to overcome the Model
incompatibilities is to replace the Django Model with an adaptor
between the Django and appengine interfaces.  I am however also not
familiar with either Django or Satchmo model usage.

Would any more knowledgeable satchmo developers wish to comment?
