I do not think that this is the case. As for the buffer overrun, it is possible that the only real issue here is that we are being too verbose about it. This is a very general problem when streaming data over the internet and I'm pretty sure that most other software just silently drop data when this happens. It's good that we log this, but it is indeed a bit too invasive :-) However, I don't think that there is a way to reduce the verbosity in 1.0.0..
