Adding to the confusion... it seems to be displaying correctly in
iCal now. I haven't made any changes, maybe it is a caching/
synchronisation issue with iCal. Whilst debugging the problem it
would seem that I kept all instances inconsistent with each other...
I will now quietly proceed in my own confusion... hoping I didn't add

Sorry about the confusion.
It would seem that the time of the event is correctly displayed in
the webcalendar, but not in the subscribing iCal. It set the wrong
time zone for the calendar. The event in the subscribing iCal is off
by 2 hours (later).
In other words:
1 Publishing iCal (Europe / Stockholm) displays 1500-1700
2 Schoolbell webrendering (Europe / Stockholm) displays 1500-1700
3 Subscribing calendar (View is set to Europe / Stockholm, but
subscribed calendar shows GMT) displays 1700-1900
Well afaik 1700-1900 (UTC) is same as 1500-1700 (Europe / Stockhol),
But yes - at the moment SchoolTool converts all events into UTC which
is a known issue (missing feature in fact), because all times are
stored as UTC internaly.
