Guys/Gals,

Please note that I am now compiling all the ideas people are submitting in this
forum.

Hopefully when the management comes back with directions, I'll be able to
provide the users desires and wishes.

In the meantime, fire away, any ideas, all ideas, silly ideas... I'll compile
everything, along with who suggested it.

Nearly forgot, if you do not want to take credit for your idea and/or want your
name to be excluded let me know and I'll leave your name/email out.

Best regards,

J

I'm glad we have Joao,

How about thinking about the structure, the divisions so that developers
jump into their favorite thing.

I'm thinking:

-Analysis
-GUI
-Database
-Pluguins: FICS, TWC?
-Documentation (webpage).

I would like to see the possibility to analyze games backwards, starting
from the end. They say this way the hash is populated and its better?.
In any event, this is possible in CB. I also favor the inclusion of a
few relevant games in the opening when analyzing games as proposed above
(and as it is done in CB).

How about doing the analysis using an engine running on a different PC,
like a server. This way one could potentially launch an analysis from a
laptop or tablet on a powerful dedicated PC. I think this is possible in
Arena.

For the GUI, well people seem to want the docking thing.

Database, how about fixing that wonderful caching software.

I'm just day-dreaming.

Peace,
R.
