Yes, it doesn't install Pascal's version.  I don't know whether it's  a .deb 
file -- anyone who wants more detail can Google for it as easily as I could.

But that will, as far as I understand it, install scid 3.6.1
from the debian repositories, not hte version extended by
Pascal. Though if this ominous OS2008 is just a debian it
should suffice to get the dev-tree for gcc and tcl/tk and
just compile it. Can you confirm this?
