I start a new thread for thinks to be clearer for me. Continuing Scid
development, I feel important (for my own usage) to develop the opening
related code and things like the calculation of vars. For opening bases my
idea is to try to handle positions instead of sequence of moves (so
transpositions are handled more easily). I will continue to ignore the
repertoire editor, as I still don't like it.
The other steps mentionned in previous threads are :
- database creation and set an hosting site. Here some tactical and opening
DB (with a ref DB) should be welcomed (at least from my point of view)
- extend the way DB are handled by Scid using metadata.
For those two last steps (the first one looking important and promising for
me), who will take the charge ?
