FYI: I just added the necessary lines to hook up with
geometry manager. Its in CVS.

Also, from a first glance I think this thing has the
potential to replace repertoir editor entirely while
interacting nicely with the much more powerful masks
functions. Very nice, indeed! And a good alternative view of
the things.

Would it be possible to keep the expansion of lines after
update? (Currently all lines are collapsed again.)

It might be worth while to think about displaying also the
position/line comments in this window. Possibly a split
layout like repertoir editor? Or as tooltips like masks,
however, I think tooltips are a bit small. As this list does
not contain all other alternatives like the tree window, I
think there could be a bit more space here compared to the
tree window itself.

Also jumping to the position that matches the top of the
line would be a nice addition. Say the display is

    > e6
      > Nf3 d5
      > d4 d5
           > exd5 exd5

if I could e.g. select exd5 exd5 and just jump to that
position to select the start of French exchange for further
exploration. I think a context menue also containing the
same options like Masks editor plus this jump would make
sense here.

Just some ideas if you don't know what to do next ;)
