Hello, in SCID it is not possible to overwrite a game in a PGN file and consequently it is not possible to annotate it directly. It must first be imported into a new database or into the ClipBase.
However, thanks for reporting the bug, it should show a more understandable error message. I think I should add a warning pop-up when a PGN file is opened. The message might be "Warning: it is possible to add games to a PGN file, but it is not possible to modify existing games". Does anyone have any better suggestions on how to communicate this information to the user? > Il 06/12/2021 02:24 Greg Marks <gtma...@gmail.com> ha scritto: > > > In Scid 4.7.0, I'm encountering a problem when attempting to annotate > multiple games.
