In Scid 4.7.0, I'm encountering a problem when attempting to annotate
multiple games. After opening a PGN file containing more than one game,
clicking the "Annotate" button, and selecting "From actual game to
game 2," after annotating the first game, Scid does not proceed to the
second game. Instead, it stops running and issues "Application error."
The error log reads:

       while executing
   "sc_game save $gameNo"
       (procedure "autoplay" line 48)
       invoked from within
   "autoplay"
       ("after" script)

Apparently, this error refers to line 718 of the file
/usr/share/scid/tcl/tools/analysis.tcl; however, it's not clear to me
how to edit this file to fix the error. Earlier versions of Scid did
successfully do batch annotation of multiple games.

I should mention that the Scid version was upgraded in the process of
upgrading a Debian system from Debian 10 to Debian 11, so possibly some
configuration files remain from the previous version. I'd rather not
purge Scid and reinstall if some easier solution exists.

Best regards,
Greg Marks
