I had a feeling that I would get this part wrong, as it was the part I know
the least about.
I didn't want to distract from the community, but wanted to point out that
real institutions are putting real money into the project, in much the same
way that volunteers make sacrifices of their time to contribute.
I'll adjust based on Mathieu's comment, with Bertrand's note about INRIA
support.
