   The reason that "Replace All" and "In Selection" are 2 buttons
rather than a checkbox and a button is that this requires fewer mouse
clicks or key strokes to perform one of these actions. It also means
that you don't have to check the current value of the checkbox so the
whole replace command can be remembered as a stream of actions without
a branch.

   Currently this is set to the most recent search term which is IMO
useful as I will often have searched for a term to find examples
before deciding to perform a replace.

   This is Jakub's option. I think it adds more complexity than it is
worth which is why it requires setting a property to enable it.
