I removed the bulky array of command mode settings and equivalent
properties. This also removed the typedef usage.
A bug within the 'replace selection' code was corrected.

I have installed Mandriva 2006 on my other PC. When there is a degree
of acceptance to this implementation I can work on GTK, though with my
inexperience with Mandriva/Linux/GTK in general any volunteers or
suggestions are welcome,
