Hmmm, now I remember.

What I had in mind was a mixture of "is_version_up_to_...." and
"is_version_above_..." checks

(I initially created an is_version_above_3_1_2 check for the
Bugzilla::Bug::AppendComment problem)

Under such a mixture more than one "is_version_..." checks may be "True"

(Was trying to think ahead)

I agree, currently only one "is_version_..." check is expected to be "True"

Still, the modification is expected to work for both simple (current) and
future (mixture) scenarios

If you consider this inappropriate or unnecessary you can replace the
"version_type_..." variables with a common one (version_type)

(As it was in scmbug 0-26-15)

Why is a newly introduced version checking mechanism needed ?

Why can't we check if the version we are looking for is a particular
version ? like is_version_up_to_3_00(), or is_version_up_to_3_20(). ?

It was supporting multiple version checks already. So why change it ? I
don't see the reason yet.
