Hi folks, hope you can help me here

For my sins, I downloaded and installed Internet Exchange Message Server on
my system. What I didnt expect it to do was to completely reconfigure my
apache setup with a new htdocs directory under /opt/ and also installing its
own httpd.conf file.

After uninstalling the said wretched program, whenever I attempt to start
apache wtih the following command

/etc/init.d/apache start

the status bar loading the modules completes, but then fails with an error
of:

httpd: could not open document config file /etc/httpd/iems.httpd.conf

in order to attempt a bypass, I tried to symlink the existing httpd.conf
file to the one named above - no joy, the server hung while loading apache
until i had to kill the process.

I've also had a look at /etc/rc.config.d/apache.rc.config since this seems
to be called in the apache script from init.d however, I cant find any
reference as to where it is expecting to find the httpd.conf file.

Can anyone help me get my apache back!!!

Thanks in advance

Darren

(running SuSE 7.1, 2.4.0 [no flames, havent had time to upgrade] and apache
1.3.14)
