Hmmm, that's disappointing. Why was it bad, Stephen?
It is disappointing.
Admittedly, I only have a "typo hosting" account with them. That
said, their support is awful, at times it's even non-existent. At
one point my machine was down for DAYS. This was after being down
for DAYS just a few weeks earlier. I finally got ahold of one of
them on irc and was like WTF. They told me it was a holiday (this
was around New Year's). That kinda did it for me.
The whole thing seems rather paper thin to me. They put up a good
front, Robby talks a lot about stuff with lots of words, etc. But
once a customer, I realized they don't have much of a backend going.
Also seems like they can't figure out if they're a hosting company or
a development company or a let's blog and be part of the scene company.
Overall, they're flaky, and unless something changes, there's
absolutely no way they're going to survive in the hyper-competitive
hosting market.
I'm just one guy though, maybe I got the wrong impression.
