I realize being out here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, my timely responses might seem a bit late, but you could check into FileMaker Pro as an option. http://www.filemaker.com/products/filemaker-pro/ If my feeble memory serves me correctly, there is a member of the group here that is in the Louisville area, who is well-versed with that program. Maybe they can come up with suggestions. On Sun, Jun 14, 2015 at 3:56 PM, Richard D. Re: [MacGroup] Help
To my knowledge (admittedly less than omniscient) there is no element within FileMaker nor within any plugin that offers PDF conversion. There are plugins that will pull out some of the data from a PDF form, and there are some online services that offer OCR to users of FileMaker with a bit of programming. And it is not cheap for just the purpose of the one incomplete ability. All-in-all, I think you would be far better served, though, with PDFpen or Acrobat Professional. PDFpen is the cheapest. Acrobat is more expensive and I really don’t think you want to use FileMaker at all in this case. And I’m a FileMaker Fanatic, so believe me.
