Welcome to the Tar Heel state. We can always use another Benz driver and also someone that has seen the wages of collectivism. I live in a very rural (think farms) area 30 miles north of Raleigh but we visited Lexington often before my wife died. My wife was a big fan of Bob Timberlake, the artist, who has a nice gallery in Lexington. Lexington is famous for BBQ but I prefer Dunn style. [MBZ] So what would be a reasonable offer on this dead 05E320 wagon
I’m going to go take a look at it when I get back home. Basically like the wagon I have not 4matic though. Woman said the owner was told it needed (apparently) a new ECU (or some computer) to make it run. “She said all the lights come on and battery is new. The dealership said it’s a small computer glitch. Just the kind for that model. It’s about 1000 at the dealership“ I’ll take my scanner and see what it shows. If it’s the ECU a new one will need to be cloned so $1k is probably about right. But then it would be a $4k car at least I would think. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/960052191506702/ Sent from my iPad ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Apparently you live in a state with no employee protections. In MA you can't do that, when you layoff a position you're saying "we don't need this position anymore". You can't turn right around and say you do actually need that position. 300 people, with 12 yr. experience X $22.00 per hour + insurance and retirement plan. VS 300 new hires, with 0 yrs experience X $7.00 per hour + absolute minimum insurance and zero retirement plan. Do the math, you run the place and get paid on quarterly profits... you just gave yourself a raise, and look good for the board of directors. So..
