[NTG-context] Bug in framed ...
Hi all, i think there is a bug when using rounded corners in frames (ConTeXt ver: 2012.08.16 22:20 MKIV fmt: 2012.8.17 int: english/english). Minimal example: \starttext %works: \framed[framecorner=rectangular, bottomframe=off, rightframe=off]{happy ConTeXting!} %bottomline and rightline should not be visible, but are: \framed[framecorner=round, bottomframe=off, rightframe=off]{happy ConTeXting!} %complete frame is missing, but should not be (according to the Wiki): \framed[corner=16]{happy ConTeXting!} \stoptext best regards Bernhard ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

[NTG-context] bug with \cite in latest beta (2011.04.13)
Hello all, there are some problems with the citecommand in the latest beta. I always get a LuaTeX error... Actually i was in the middle of narrowing down a bug where a \cite command in a caption produced a entry in the publication list of the caption text (and also made that sometimes interaction did not work with some references in the text), so i tried to update to the latest beta and now the document does not compile any more. [NTG-context] combiation trickery again now with attachement - sorry
Hi, in the attachment is an example file which describes best what i want do. The method with \offset and \clip to place the figures where i want is really brutal force i think. Especially fiddling around with dimension to get the "right fit“ is tedious. Is there a better solution to do such a start/stopcombination? Floatplacing is also influenced by the offset command but i compensated this with *hang - nevertheless all in all i think no good solution. Hello all, i have finally made my first typescript. Since i use Adobe Opticals i was happy to find a description on the wiki how to make a typescript for proper use. However i have one little problem (i don´t know if i make something wrong or it is a bug): when i switch to an bodyfont smaller than 13pt my rm typeface don´t work anymore (above all is ok, even opticals). The ss typeface works normally. I´ve attached the typescripts, .tex file, log and the pdf output with some \showbodyfont commands (12pt, 13pt, 14pt) which shows what i mean. Honestly i have to say that i´m understanding typescripts not completely. Please help. best regards Bernhard Handout.tex Description: Binary data Handout.log Description: Binary data type-MyTypeScript.tex Description: Binary data ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

Re: [NTG-context] BibTeX/Publications
Hello, i had the same problem with the refcommand=authoryears for a while. Since nobody had an answer in the mailing list i tried to investigate the problem for myself. Apparently when the conversion from the bibtex file to the .bbl file takes place the .bbl file gets the same name as the document and this, i don´t know why, is the reason for the line break after the first parenthesis. Solution: rename the .bbl file in whatever you want and do \input filename.bbl in your document (delete or remove the original bibtex file from the document folder!). For me this solution worked, but since i´m no programmer i´ve no idea to solve this problem "professionally". best regards Bernhard Am 15.11.2009 um 18:05 schrieb Thomas A. Re: [NTG-context] A few questions
Hello, following the new structure code the answer for your second question is: \definestructureprefixset[figureprefix][section-3] \definestructureseparatorset [septest][--,--,--,---][?] \setupstructurecountering[way=bysection, prefixset=figureprefix, prefixseparatorset=septest, prefixconnector=--] explanation: with definestructureprefixset you declare a new prefix which is always inserted when it is invoked with the prefixset key (in this case section-3 is the section while section-2 is for example the chapter and so on... look in the source code for more) you can have \definestructureprefixset[figureprefix][section-2,section-3,section-4] for example and the prefix gets inserted at the right place in your figure number. \definestructureseparatorset [septest][--,--,--,---][?] works similar (the [?] is in this case the fallback when no specific separator is defined for that position). the prefixconnector is the character which gets inserted between the figure number and the rest of the prefixes. All that prefixthings you can also do with pagenumbers and section numbers... i don´t know if this code will see some changes in newer context mkiv versions because i think it is still experimental but at the moment it works. third question: you could define a new head with \definehead then it gets a new counter. When you only want that a specific sectionnumber is different from the others than do: \startsection [title=dritte section, ownnumber=243] first question: i don´t know because i don´t needed it. hope this helps best regards Bernhard Am 13.11.2009 um 01:10 schrieb Vyatcheslav Yatskovsky: > Hello, > > I have a few (I suppose easy) questions: > > 1) asking about this again and again... how to setup itemization so that the > first line were indented too? > > 2) how to setup figure captions so that they include section number, like > . > (no sub-sub-subsections)? > > 3) How to start section numbering from, say, second section? > > Regards, > Vyatcheslav > ___ > If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the > Wiki! > > maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context > webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net > archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ > wiki : http://contextgarden.net > ___ ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : http://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

That´s all. \completepublications[criterium=all] \stoptext when I do it with ConTeXt MKII all is ok, but in ConTeXt MKIV the first \cite (in my example \ccite) always breaks the line after the first left delimiter (when i use refcommand "authorstyles"). Is this a bug? Are there any workarounds? refcommand=num and refcommand=key don ´t break the lines but all others do. Thanks for help.
